We're not sure if they travel in packs or if they are trying to escape the heat, dampness, sunshine or cold. All we know for sure is that when they show up, there is usually more than one at a time. At this time we are not aware of anyone in your region that carries the products needed to control this pest. I have caught two and compared them to their pictures on a number of sites and they have had all the markings so I feel fairly confident in my findings. The wierd thing is that we have found five spiders now over a three day period and none ever prior. Is it normal for these spiders to seek shelter when the weather gets hotter or are they just following prey into our house? And lastly, what can I purchase here in the Los Angeles area that you would recommend to ward off this infiltration?
