Brown Recluse Spider identification
I have a BIG spider problem! I belive I have captured a brown recluse spider. I need to identify it, if you could give me a picture or a discription it would help out a lot!
Brown Recluse Spiders are quite unique and not as common as people think. It is possible you have seen one; we have a good brown reluse spider picture here. If you need further help, give us a call at 1.800.877.7290.

over the past three days I have caught and killed what I beleive to be Brown Recluse spiders. I have caught two and compared them to their pictures on a number of sites and they have had all the markings so I feel fairly confident in my findings. The wierd thing is that we have found five spiders now over a three day period and none ever prior. Is it normal for these spiders to seek shelter when the weather gets hotter or are they just following prey into our house? And lastly, what can I purchase here in the Los Angeles area that you would recommend to ward off this infiltration?
Please help,

Brown Recluse Spiders do seem to travel in numbers. It's quite common to have customers report that they are seeing multiple brown recluse spiders over a short period of time, like a week or two, so this is the "norm". We're not sure if they travel in packs or if they are trying to escape the heat, dampness, sunshine or cold. All we know for sure is that when they show up, there is usually more than one at a time.
At this time we are not aware of anyone in your region that carries the products needed to control this pest. If you are not able to find anyone locally, keep in mind we ship immediately and that the Deltamethrin, Baygon Aerosol and Bifen Granules can all be shipped to you in a matter of days. They can be seen on our SPIDER CHEMICALS and are really what you need to apply to stop this invasion.
